NORTH AMERICAN THOROUGHBRED HORSE CO. (NATHC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Todd Holding Ltd. NATHC and Todd Holdings Ltd are 100% owned by Glen Todd.

NATHC owns a large farm in Lexington, Kentucky that maintains all of our breeding stock and yearlings. The Kentucky Farm is operated and managed by Shelley Bancroft, the oldest daughter of Glen Todd.

We lease a 20 acre farm in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia where we winter running stock, layups and also includes a rehab facility.

NATHC is a Sovereign Award winner as the Most Outstanding Owner in Canada where it was the leader in North America with 34 stakes wins.

On September 7th, 2019, NATHC won 3 prestigious stakes in a row at Hastings Racecourse. Amazonian won the $100,000 BC Oaks, then in the very next race Five Star General won the $250,000 Gr. 3 BC Derby and then He's the Reason won the S.W. Randall Plate in the following race. NATHC is the only owner in BC racing history to win both the Oaks and Derby in the same year.

 

NATHC's dedication to the "Sport of Kings" is evident in the expertise and combined knowledge of our employees. Many of NATHC's team members have grown up around horses or have been involved with them in some manner throughout their lives. The well-being of our Thoroughbreds is the number one priority for our staff.

NATHC is passionate about Thoroughbred horse racing and strives to promote this exciting sport both within and outside the racing community.
